Indeed, all users who have received training have access to free support. We answer calls the same day, without delay, all our customers have priority over our other projects. In addition, we regularly modify our software free of charge following suggestions from our customers.

Software Updates

When opening a session, users are informed if an update is available on the Internet depending on the version used. The software modifications list is continuously updated with the description of additions and corrections. This list is available on the Internet and is accessible from a menu of our DCision ERP software. It is therefore easy for users and managers to know all the new features that they can benefit from to help them in their tasks. Of course, when further clarifications and explanations are required, all they need to do is contact us and we are always happy to answer any questions and take note of their suggestions, if any, for future improvements.

How Updates Work

Updates are always complete, that is, they always contain all the programs as well, even if the updates have not been installed for a while, our customers are sure not to miss some modifications.

Whether it is a client who uses the « client / server » or one who works in « cloud computing », the programs reside in only one place (folder), on the server. When a customer decides to install an update, after viewing the updates document and obtaining the password to run it, they download the update file from the website, run it, and then he simply confirm the installation folder. Then, from an application menu, he can launch the execution of the update. The system validates that the manager is the only user in the system and that the update received is complete and installs it in the application folderAt the opening of next session, the system will then use the new programs and make sure that the selected database version does not need to be updated which happens when the data structure changes. That’s it, generally in less than five minutes, an update is installed and users can re-enter their DCision ERP applications.

Access Control to Menu Items Added by an Update

As mentioned in one of the articles dealing with access controls, the system can be configured to prevent users from accessing new menu items added by the installation of an update. Thus, a manager can first control which users will have the right to access it. He may also take the time to familiarize himself with the novelty before releasing it.
