The <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\"><span style=\"color: #8e1324;\"><em><strong>DCision ERP<\/strong><\/em><\/span> software includes several business intelligence tools<\/span><\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"c\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Excel Reports and Exports<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"c\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Cross-Analyzes<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"c\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Dashboards<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\"><span style=\"color: #8e1324;\"><em><strong>DCision ERP<\/strong><\/em><\/span> users are already familiar with many of the reports, exports and cross-analyzes available<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"alt-edited\" title=\"\">We will focus on cross-analysis in a future article<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"alt-edited\" title=\"\">Let us focus here on the dashboard<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">A management dashboard provides an overview of the company and <span class=\"alt-edited\" title=\"\">evaluates its performance over time<\/span><\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">It must be defined according to the key performance indicators (KPI) of your company<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Here are some examples of key indicators: the gap between forecasted and actual sales, the profitability of ongoing projects and the absenteeism rate by department<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Here is an example of a dashboard containing a cash flow, a view on the budget forecasts (actual versus budget), on the absenteeism rate and finally on the projects in progress, at the budget level<\/span><\/span>:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/2-TableauDeBord.jpg\" alt=\"TableauDeBord\" width=\"771\" height=\"493\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">A dashboard presents these indicators in the form of graphs giving an overview in a single window allowing to quickly detect problems and make decisions<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">The technology used consists of periodically gathering the necessary data in a Data Warehouse<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">This data comes from your <em><strong><span style=\"color: #8e1324;\">DCision ERP<\/span><\/strong><\/em> databases and other sources<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Finally, Excel spreadsheets are defined and connect to the data warehouse to present the desired key performance indicators<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Using Excel <span class=\"alt-edited\" title=\"\">eliminates<\/span> having to purchase an expensive product and have to provide extensive training to users<\/span><\/span>.
