#8e1324;\"><em><strong>DCision ERP<\/strong><\/em><\/span> software is designed to control access to its functionality.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">We will see that it is much more than a simple password<\/span><\/span>! <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">The development of any new software functionality always involves the question of its access control<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Password Per User<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">The very first level of control is the password per user who controls access to the system<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Various parameters can be entered to reinforce this control, including the use of special characters, forcing users to change it frequently and sending an email to managers when a user fails to enter their password.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Password Per Database<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Once the user has entered his password, he must choose in which application and which company he wants to work<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">A database is attached to a company and to one of the applications (Financial and Accounting Management, Operations Management or Membership Management)<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">The second level of control control that can be defined allows you to control access to a company (database) to determine which users have access to which companies<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Password and List of Users (or Roles) Authorized For Each Menu Item<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Once the user has logged in to a database, you can control which features they are allowed to access<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Indeed, each menu item can be controlled using a password and a list of users or a list of roles<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">These are defined in the management of administrative processes and can be associated with users<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Thus, in the event of replacement of users, only the associations between roles and users change and not the access permissions by menus defined in each database, which is advantageous especially when you manage several companies.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">For more details on roles and management of administrative processes, see the related Management<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">User groups or role groups can be defined and they can then be assigned to different menu items to speed up the control updates<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">When an update contains new menu items, it is possible to ask the system to block their access until a manager updates the related controls<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00ab Special \u00bb P<span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">assword<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Other passwords can be assigned to certain sections of a window or in certain contexts, for example when registering a transaction in an earlier period<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Another example is the assignment of a password to a check frame containing a co-signature<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Thus, a user can prepare the pre-list of checks to be issued but cannot issue them until the<\/span><\/span> \u00ab <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">owner<\/span><\/span> \u00bb <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">of the co-signature used enters their password<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Other Controls<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Related to software feature
